Hey there from Czech Republic!
I’m here for a few days decompressing from my very full Middle East trip with Beirut and Beyond to Lebanon and Jordan to work with Palestinian refugees these past couple of weeks. While I’m still a ways away from being able to really get into photos, video, and writing from my volunteer trip, I did want to send a quick update today.
Overall, the trip was moving, necessary, and hopeful.
I have so much to download and process, but in the meantime, here are a few posts I wrote for the Beirut and Beyond social pages to update on my experience. Click or tap the post title through to read on Facebook and see the images.

While I’m here, I want to give a few thanks.
Thanks to Sarah, for showing me Czech life and hosting me now in her home. Thanks to Suzann who took five of us into three refugee camps in two countries. Thanks to the many partners who hosted us in their communities. Thanks to my husband Lane for his immeasurable technical support on the front end, for the emotional and creative support throughout my trip, and for being so willing to hold down the fort (and Dakota for helping.) Thanks to Maddison for taking my SOS calls. Thanks to Micala for being the best roommate in Beirut. Thanks to the rest of the B&B team who made the trip unforgettable. Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible.
Stay tuned. I can’t wait to tell you more!
Lots of love,
